1. Do you think having a massive wedding like Korea or UAE is a good idea? Eloping? Having it in a foreign location like Hawaii?
I think we should not have a massive wedding. Because, It costs a lot of money. Ithink tht we should spent of money for a house, child care and education. It costs them. So, I want to spent a money for wedding moderately.
We should not be eloping. We were grown by our parents faithfully. If you want to marrige your partner, you must pursuade your parents. And you must not be care your parents.
I want to do if I can. But, I don't have much money now.
2. What is your ideal wedding?
I want to have wedding in Hirosima because almost my friends live in here. And I like SETONAIKAI. So, I want to do we can see a panoramic view there.

Superstitions Homework
We talked about many superstitions in many countries, but do you think it is important to talk about them? Why?Is communication affected by superstitions?Do you believe in Japanese superstitions? If so, what superstitions, what do they mean and why do you do,use, or believe in them?
1. Do you think it is important to talk about them? Why?
I think it superstitions are important to talk about because we can know someidea about how to think of foreign country. It is very interesting isn't it? It is important to know about Japanese superstitions, but also it is important to know about foreign it.
2. Is communication affected by supertitions?
Yes,it is. It may be diffrent from between Japanese mean and American mean. For example, you say Japanese superstition, but it is diffrent mean as American. This may cause a misunderstanding. So, we have to study both Japanese and foreign superstitions.
3. Do you beleave Japanese supertitions? What do they mean to you.
No, I Don't. But I know some superstitions. For example, If you drink milk, you get taller. It is not ture. I like milk so, I drank much milk. But I didn't get taller. And, the fool doen't catch a cought. It is also not ture. If I am tired or grow weak, I catch a cought. So, I don't beleave superstitions.

Homework 3
Today we discussed the language of clothes. After listening to the lecture and the meaning of colors in clothing, answer the following questions:
1. Do you judge people according to what they wear? Why?
Yes, I do. I think it is important TPO. T is time, P is place and O is occasion. we observe other people on formal occasions. If they don't wear suitable dress, they are considered have not common sense people.
And, if you have good fasion sense, you are considered as the good sense owner.
2 Do you think Japanese society puts an importance on clothing when judging other people from another country?
No, I don't. But I surprised that they weared T-shirt in spite of 15degrees when I stayed England. And my hostmother said somepeople weared a tank top when it was even winter. If they wear it in japan, they may be called strange person.
3. What colors are you wearing now?
I am wearing a brown dress and black tights. I overslept in this morning. So, I chose these clothes at random. Today's fasion is so-so. I want to be a sharp dresser.

1. What are some subjects that you will never discuss with a friend?
I always talk about a lot of subject. Recentry, we tall about how to Christmas. Some people say they spend the day with her boy friend. So, I feel envious. We usually talk about ourself. So, we are chummy.
2. Do you have different friends for different parts of your life? If so, how are they different to you? Do you talk about different things? Go to different places? Give me some examples.
Yes, I have. one of my friends work part-time job. I also do. But, she give poket money from her parents. I dan't agree with her system. I asked her why do you give poket money in spite of that you work part-time job. She answeared "My mother saied you have to study at univercity, so you don't have to try to work part-time job. I agree with her mother. But, I think we have to learn how to use money within the limits of our budgets.

a. Do you have any international friends or a host family? If so, how would you express your condolences to them if a family member died? If not, then how would you express consolences to an American host family if their Grandmother died?
I have an English host family. They consider that death is private. So, the funeral service is hold by a few relative. If a close friend die, his or her friends don't go to there. Consolences's feel is expressed by a bunch of flowers.

No, I haven't. But, I'm interested in it.

1. Reflecting about today's class:Today we discussed the Japanese concept of "wrapping". Do you agree with the web site's description?What do you do that can be called "wrapping"? Give examples and reasons for your actions.
I agree with web site. we can call "Honnne to Tatemae". For example, I get a souvenir from neighborhood. But I don't like sweets. American or English people may say that they don't like sweet. But, Japanese don't say that. Because, Japanese is a race that they can't say honesty.
